As weather patterns change quickly, ecosystems will struggle to adapt and some will collapse, causing a chain reaction for other ecosystems which in turn will collapse.
As the water and climate change, weather patterns will be disrupted, in some areas there will be less rain and more heat, whilst in others the changed weather patterns will result in freezing temperatures.
Humans will start to see that the eternal quest for more, more, more, more children, more food, one more cow for the herd, one more acre of land more, more, more than brings us to our current state of disharmony and disfunction. Species only become prolific when the environment is out of harmony. Nature always balances. Its a universal law, male, female, black, white, hot, cold.
And time is created by humans.
Nature has rules, whether we choose to listen or not. In nature there is no such thing as waste. All resources are used and reused. Those who waste their breath preaching that there is no such thing as global warming are refusing basic laws of nature such as – only take what you need.Wastefullness is a human illness.
The most intense and extreme result of climate change will be extinction of species and ecosystems. That it itself is not unnatural or sad, but the fact that human wastefulness brought it about sooner is.
Its is impossible to know what may happen until it does. But the simplest thing I can think of is that everything is connected. Remove one piece of the puzzle and the puzzle falls apart. The world that we know wont make a smooth transition into its next stage. From distruction comes creation, we will just have to cross our fingers and hope that a) we learn from our mistakes and b) the planet provides us with the things we need to survive
