My 6 month old son has a big rash all over his back, stomach, neck and arms. Any idea what this could be?

Is had this rash all over his back, stomach, neck and arms for almost a month! Is very small red, bumpy areas and dry everywhere. He they leave little sores. It is only 6 months. Started in the stomach, neck, arm, back now. It looks very uncomfortable. Ichi Sorta. I took him to instability of attention when I realized, and wern't sure what it was. But now is not going away, but is deteriorating, to start worrying. Do we know what this could it be?
